When I was younger I was a great saver. My weekly allowance would go in my piggy bank, and would add up so quickly. When I became a little older, and began to add my baby sitting pay to that bank I always had a nice nest egg. Everyone in my household knew that my piggybank was a bag. My older brother was always begging me for a loan on Fridays nights.
Then adulthood came, and saving became more of a necessity rather than a fun thing to hoard over your brother. While going over my budget for the month I began to think of other ways that I could save not just my money, but other resources that are valuable as well. Our time & energy is our most valuable resource, and shouldn’t given freely. We as women tend to prioritize external beliefs as our internal values without any investigation of our spirit, and our own minds. In that moment a light went on in my mind like I was about to step on stage to perform. A strong urge to incorporate this way of thinking in a deeper understanding to be relayed to all.
I began to examine the characteristics of a monetary savings account compared to a moral one. The account from the financial institution rewards us for keeping money in the account over a period of time, and the return on the money can be very valuable providing the amount deposited, and the rate of percentage accrued. Particularly a high yielding savings with a percentage of 4%’, yes its exactly like It sounds; I’ve been speaking with a financial advisor. However constantly depleting this account will yield a negative result. Our choices in life work in the same way as the percentage yielding account. What you put in it, is what you get out of it.

Your spirit is the highest yielding saving account that you will ever get. Our mentality, personal space, time, and energy are the spiritual dividends. Think about the amount of people, situations, and information that we deposit and withdraw on a daily basis. All of the exchanges of time and energy rather done consciously or subconsciously all leave traces of residue behind. Most of us just go through life never really taking inventory of what we really intake or easily dismiss. We just accept that this is the way the world works now, or I don’t want to be rude. As free beings we all have to right to choose, and when we don’t we can remember to explore those experiences. Adopting this new perspective will keep you conscious of the choices, situations, and people you bring into your circle moving forward.
Your choices, decisions, and exchanges of information can now arrive from within you rather than falling prey to societal pressures. Managing your spirit like a high yielding savings account will empower you to deposit and withdraw with positive intent for yourself. Surveying, are these people a positive beneficial addition to my life? Does this situation exhaust my energy unnecessarily? Will this conversation enlighten my life or add to the negative energy that I need to clear out? Become more mindful of your worth and consistently check those spiritual statements.
Start saving wisely!
