Traffic Jam

I don’t know about you, but I’m one of the most impatient people in the world. I absolutely detest waiting for a long period of time for anything. They say that patience is a virtue, well I must admit that its a quality that I lack. Now that a lot of cities are being over-developed, the traffic is horrible. There is always a traffic jam everywhere. My impatience gets tested regularly. The constant standing still and not going any where really drives me bananas!

Do you feel the same way about just being stuck without anywhere to go? I cant think of a worst feeling than that. Having the desire to move forward, with no escape in sight. So now your doomed to remain in place, and any movement for your vehicle is contingent on the cars around you. Then it happens, an exit comes up and car after car get’s out. However when your turn comes to exit you hesitate or second guess yourself, and the escape from hell has been missed.

A lot of us are stuck in a jam on the Highway of life. In a bad relationship, dedicated to a dead end job, spending time with negative friends, and or doing anything that we know isn’t our true hearts desire. We know that all of the above named situations are toxic and non-beneficial, but when the exit comes we make excuses as to why we can’t change. I’m a loyal person, we’ve been friends for so long, I like my boss and co-workers, and my parents are really proud of me for accomplishing this. The list could grow, but I will digress. Time goes on and we remain in our vehicle comfortably complacent.

The only issue with that is your never going to get anywhere in life without taking a risk. Listening to that voice inside that says do it, go for it, take a leap of faith, or trust yourself. This powerful directive can lead you down paths that you never knew were available to you. How many rewarding new adventures have you allowed to go by? Once you start to allow your spiritual GPS to guide you the journey of life will surprise you with impeccable destinations.
