The weather is changing and becoming warmer. This is the time of year where the girls can have a little fun with wearing small bathing suits, and daisy dukes at the beach under the sun. The summer nights bring out the flowy feminine maxi dresses that accentuate our sun-kissed skin which gets a little extra shimmer under the moonlight.
Thoughts of days filled with fun in the sun, and grown and sexy night time dinners outside become intoxicating. You have made plans with your girls or your significant other, and the day has finally arrived. While you are getting dressed making sure that every hair is in place. One last glance in the mirror and the look is approved.
Just before leaving out of the door, it dawns on your face mask. Then it hits we are still dealing with social distancing, and Covid-19 is still very much around. The feeling of dread, disappointment, and irritation suddenly washes over you. Just the idea of having to put a mask over your freshly made-up face, or to having to hide those sultry lips. Psyching yourself out to believe that this face-covering goes better with anything in your wardrobe better than your smile should be a crime. Now going out just doesn’t seem that inviting.
Take a deep breath, and relax. Remain calm and remember that your beauty, sex-appeal, and the light of your ora come from within. Not even a mask can mask your spirit. During this time it’s more important than ever to stay put together. As a matter of fact, getting dolled up doesn’t have to require you to go anywhere. Fix yourself up just to cook or binge-watch t.v. Pour a glass of wine while wearing your favorite LBD, and if you don’t drink put juice in a wine glass.
Slip into some sexy Lingerie, and accessorize it with jewelry. Going the extra mile to make sure that your appearance is polished lends to feeding the spirit. Make this a regular routine in your daily life, and watch the perception of yourself change. No matter what’s going on in the outer world nothing should interfere with you pampering and being kind to yourself. Put your tiara on, and never allow people or circumstances to knock it off.
What does your Pretty routine look like?
